Bio: My family and I moved to Chico in the fall of 2002, and we love it here. We moved here from the artic tundra of Minnesota, which is where I grew up. My wife, Joy and I have been married for 12 years, and we have three amazing children. I graduated from Crown College in 1999 with a Bachelors degree in Youth Ministry, and I completed my Masters degree at Bethel Seminary in 2002.

I love student ministries because teenagers are so hungry for authentic faith. Students have so many real questions and desire to know that God is a reality for them, not just an idea. I enjoy helping students develop a more personal relationship with God and put their faith into action.

You Would Never Think: I used to be terrified of public speaking. When I was a teenager, I dreaded the idea of giving a report or anything up in front of the class.

Favorite books, CD's, movies : Book: Blue Like Jazz, by Donald Miller. Music: Anything by the David Crowder Band. Movie: Probably Gladiator or Braveheart.

Hobbies: I enjoy playing basketball, watching football, going fly fishing, and spending time with my family.
