Bio: I am a 3rd generation Californian born near Pasadena but raised in Nevada on a farm. I trusted Christ as a sophomore at UNR and acknowledged God's call on my life to ministry in my mid 20s. When I finished with seminary my desire was to put down roots in one place and make my first church my last church. God has graciously allowed that to happen as I complete my 26th year at Grace.
You would never think: Unless you knew me that I once was so shy that I was afraid to talk on the phone growing up. While still the introvert I am a work in progress in developing the social aspect of my life.
Favorites books and movies: I have always been a sci-fi fan and enjoyed all the Star Trek and Star War movies. Movies like Remember the Titans provide inspiration for me. I enjoy a range of reading Tom Clancy fiction to a variety of Christian books on leadership.
Hobbies: The old saying "you can take the boy from the farm but you cannot take the farm from the boy" has certainly been true for me. Our backyard "my back 40" though small has a wide range of fruit trees as well as blueberry bushes.
