Worship@Grace
Worship and Arts at Grace is all about engaging the hearts of Christ-followers and challenging the hearts of seekers to an authentic response to the genuine heart of God. We seek to use gifted artists in the areas of music, drama and dance as well as skilled technicians who serve in the production and technical side of the ministry.
The role of the worship team is to paint a beautiful picture of God. The lyrics are the brush strokes, the music is the color and texture, the teams modeling of worship as well as the technical elements are the frame. Nothing should distract from the painting of the Living God but rather everything must draw us to it.
Our worship should be driven by our faith, fueled by truth and drawn forth by our emotions.
Our Worship Values
We value excellence in Worship. Excellence is distinctly different than perfection. Excellence is the pursuit of presenting our very best to the Living God.
We value releasing each musician in their giftedness to express genuine worship from their heart to God through their instrument.
We value a humble heart among lead worshipers. Humble, servant-artists follow the perfect example of Jesus, who led by serving and served by leading.
We value engagement. Worship should not be a spectator sport but rather an authentic, engaged response to the genuine heart of God.
